Banana Leaf Animal Collection
These hand crafted animals were made with banana leaves by women in the Mathare slum of Nairobi, Kenya. The proceeds from the sale of these items go back to support new micro-loans for women in poverty stricken areas of Africa. Types of animals–Elephant, Rhino, Giraffe, Lion, Zebra, Impala, Warthog, Water Buffalo.
